A serviceman of the 22nd brigade, Vladimir Gudim, call sign Tikhon, spent 46 days surrounded by Russians near Kleshchievka, Donetsk region. The fighter not only survived, but also eliminated many of the invaders themselves, TSN reports.
According to media reports, Tikhon was the only survivor of the 10 fighters in the position. He was surrounded by the enemy for 46 days. For the first two weeks, he held his position and repelled Russian attacks. Then he injured his right hand and cut off his own finger.
After he takes the radio from the murdered invader, he decides to leave the prison alone. So he knew that the Russians were trying to take over the territory around him. Ours is against him. And this confrontation continued while he was surrounded – almost two months. By this time, the relatives had already received an official letter from the command about the disappearance of Vladimir. But they continue to believe that he is alive. Ukrainian soldiers found Tikhon.
Now Vladimir’s left leg is amputated, and the index finger on his right hand is missing. In these almost 2 hellish months, I’ve lost two dozen kilos and I’m still tired. He still has a long recovery. Today Tikhon eats a lot of sweet and fried food and waits for the next visit of his relatives. He promised that he would definitely get better, because he couldn’t let his mother down, who despite everything believed in her son.
We would like to remind you that on September 17, 2023, soldiers of the National Police brigade Lyut, together with soldiers of the 80th Specialized Assault Brigade and 5th Specialized Brigade, as a result of heavy fighting, liberated Klishchievka in the Bakhmut direction of the region of Donetsk. The Russians captured this settlement in January 2023, namely, the forces of the Wagner PMC.
