An air raid alert was declared in the southern region of Ukraine due to a missile threat on Sunday, January 28. This was reported by the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The warning applies to Nikolaev, Kirovograd, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.

Later it became known about the launch of a cruise missile in the direction of the Kirovograd region, but after some time it changed its direction to the Dnieper.
In turn, the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine reported that the Russians have increased the number of launch vehicles in the Black Sea to four – two surface and two underwater. Their total salvo caliber can reach 24 missiles.
“The enemy does not stop the maneuvers of the naval group and systematically increases the level of tension. In the Black Sea, the naval group has again been increased to 11 units and missile carriers have been added to the duty in battle. The level of the missile threat is extremely high,” the message said.
Earlier on Sunday it was learned that the Russians launched two submarines in the Black Sea, which are carriers of Caliber cruise missiles.
