In Rostov-on-Don, Russia, the first entrance to a five-story building collapsed on Narimanov Street. This was announced by the Governor of the Rostov Region, Vasily Golubev, on Sunday, January 28.
According to him, the building, built in 1963, was previously declared unsafe four years ago. All residents were evacuated from here the previous day. That’s why no one was hurt.
The authorities of Rostov-on-Don introduced a state of emergency to eliminate the consequences. The residents of the house were sent to a temporary accommodation center at a local school. 155 families are subject to resettlement.
