The Russians began recruiting young Belarusians to study in military educational institutions. The reason for this is the lack of junior officers in the Russian army, reports the Center for National Resistance.
“As a result of heavy losses in the war against Ukraine, a huge shortage of junior officers appeared in the Russian occupation forces. Russia is trying to correct this by recruiting citizens of other countries, especially Belarusians,” the message said.
Representatives of the armed forces of the Russian Federation hold so-called “open door” days in the regional centers of Belarus. There they offer local youth to study to become officers in Russian military universities.
As we wrote earlier, the Russian military has created a base of residents of the temporarily occupied territories who are suspected of disloyalty to the occupation regime.
