The Netherlands has joined the IT coalition in support of Ukraine’s defense, contributing 10 million euros.
The Netherlands has joined an IT coalition created by partners to support Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense on Saturday, January 27.
The Netherlands joined the IT coalition at the most recent meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in the Ramstein format. The country contributed 10 million euros.
The IT Coalition is a special association of states within the Contact Group for the Defense of Ukraine under the leadership of Estonia and Luxembourg. Estonia (500 thousand euros) and Luxembourg (10 million euros) have previously contributed to the IT coalition. Lithuania and Latvia also provided material assistance in the form of licenses and equipment.
In total, 11 countries have joined the IT coalition: Ukraine, Belgium, Great Britain, Denmark, Estonia, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg and Japan.
We remind you that Denmark has previously allocated more than 13 million euros for Ukraine’s cyber defense. These funds will be used for cybersecurity projects of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Ministry of Defense.
