One of the employees of the minister’s office was arrested and charged with selling and possessing drugs.

Belgian police found more than 50 bags of cocaine in the office of Caroline Désir, education minister for the southern French-speaking region of Wallonia. 7sur7 reported this on Friday, January 26.

The Brussels prosecutor’s office confirmed the discovery of the drugs. In relation to this case, the head of the department and eight other suspects were charged with selling and possessing drugs. However, as indicated, two of the suspects were released.

It was reported that in addition to the drugs, 10,000 euros in cash was found in the home of one of the arrested office employees.

The investigation is ongoing.

We remind you that in the Kyiv region, drug dealers started fires to “cover their tracks.”

It was previously reported that a drug laboratory was exposed in the Lviv region and drugs worth about 90 million hryvnias were seized.
