The defenders of Ukraine are firmly holding the defense and are actively moving in several directions, said General Alexander Tarnavsky.
In the area of responsibility of the Tavria operational-strategic group of troops, the Russian army increased the number of offensive operations and attacks. This was announced by the commander of OSGV Tavria, Brigadier General Alexander Tarnavsky, on Telegram on Friday, January 26.
According to him, yesterday in this operational zone the enemy conducted 50 military clashes, conducted 10 air and 624 artillery strikes.
“Our defenders are firmly holding the line and conducting active operations in several directions,” the general said.
The daily losses of the Russians in the Tauride direction amounted to 480 people and 23 pieces of equipment excluding drones, namely: two tanks, seven armored combat vehicles, six artillery systems, five vehicles and three pieces of special equipment.
The Defense Forces also destroyed two Russian ammunition depots and neutralized or destroyed 161 enemy drones of various types.
We remind you that according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, yesterday 82 military clashes took place at the front. 990 Russians were killed, and their total losses since the beginning of the war exceeded 380 thousand dead.
