This official is part of the inner circle of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and heads Russia’s largest sanctioned holding company, which produces cruise missiles and guided bombs. These weapons are regularly supplied to the Russian army for shelling of Ukraine. The press center of the Security Service of Ukraine reported this on January 24.
Law enforcement officials have calculated that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the invaders have carried out more than 140 attacks on civilian infrastructure and energy facilities in Ukraine using Kh-101 and Kh-555 cruise missiles alone.
In addition, the Obnosov Corporation produces cruise and anti-ship missiles P-800 Oniks, Kh-22, Kh-32 and Kh-59 and guided bombs of the KAB-500 and KAB-1500 series.
It was also established that several months before February 24, 2022, the official received the title of Hero of Russia for direct participation in preparations for a full-scale Russian invasion.
Based on the collected evidence, SBU investigators informed Obnosov of suspicion under Part 5 of Art. 27, part 2 art. 437 (complicity in waging aggressive war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Let us remind you that the SBU has collected an evidence base on the sanctioned metropolitan of the Lugansk diocese of the UOC-MP Vasily Povoroznyuk, who is collaborating with the Russian invaders in temporarily occupied Lugansk. The attacker has already been informed of the suspicion.
