At least five pieces of engineering equipment and the hopes of the Russians to build a railway in the Russian Federation were destroyed.
The place where the engineering units of the Russian invaders were based in the village of Granitnoye, Donetsk region, was hit. This was announced by the adviser to the mayor of Mariupol Petr Andryushchenko on Telegram on Wednesday, January 24.
“Morning of good news. The village of Granitnoye. Another blow to the place where the occupying engineering units were based, which finally destroyed the hope for the railway bridge. More precisely, those who remained along with at least five units of engineering equipment,” he wrote.
According to Andryushchenko, this is not just a point, but a “fat cross” on the potential of the railway from Russia to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine at least by 2024. Also, the advisor to the mayor of Mariupol thanked the all involved in the strike against the enemy, especially those under occupation.
“Now can we ask for “heavenly punishment” on another bridge? And bury the logistics of the car in Volnovakha seriously and for a long time?” – Andryushchenko added.
Let’s recall that in November 2023, the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Marat Khusnullin said that the construction of a railway from the Rostov region of the Russian Federation to the occupied Crimea through the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine is at the stage of design.
