Scholz clarified that we are talking about abandoning the queuing system, where the FRG supplies weapons to countries in the world.
“The priority of the first recipient of German weapons needs to be changed in favor of Ukraine. There is a long list of clients waiting to receive weapons even after two or three years. But many contracts need to be changed in favor of the warring country. , ”Scholz said.
He also said that all equipment promised by Germany to be supplied to Ukraine should arrive at the right time for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Scholz also reaffirmed that Germany will transfer the air defense system to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Remember that Germany will send new howitzers to Ukraine in the coming weeks. Along with artillery, MLRS deliveries are expected.
