The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces published operational information about the Russian invasion on Tuesday morning, January 23.
“In the past 24 hours, 68 military clashes took place. In total, the enemy launched 3 missiles and 65 air strikes, carried out 56 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of the Russian terrorist attack, unfortunately, there were dead and wounded civilian population. Private houses and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged. The next morning, a missile was launched attack the Russian invaders with 4 S300/400 anti-aircraft guided missiles on the civilian infrastructure of the cities of Kharkov and Balakleya, Kharkov region,” said the morning report of the General Staff.
Air strikes were received by: Granov, Grigorovka, Peschanoye, Kharkov region; Novoegorovka, Belogorovka, Serebryanskoye forestry, Lugansk region; Terny, Razdolevka, Bogdanovka, Khromovo, Kleshchievka, Belaya Gora, Mayorskoye, Novobakhmutovka, Avdeevka, Vodyanoye, Novomikhailovka, Staromayorskoye, Donetsk region; Novodarovka, Zaporozhye region; Kachkarovka, Red Mayak, Zmievka, Berislav, Kherson region.
More than 140 settlements in Chernigov, Sumy, Kharkov, Lugansk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk, Kherson and Nikolaev regions came under artillery fire.
In the direction of Kupyansk, Ukrainian defenders repelled four enemy attacks in the area of the village of Sinkovka, Kharkov region.
In the direction of Liman, Ukrainian soldiers repelled the attack of invaders near Terny, Donetsk region, and 5 more attacks near Makeevka, Belogorivka, Serebryansky forestry, Lugansk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, the Defense Forces repelled 7 enemy attacks near Bogdanovka, Klishchievka and Andreevka in the Donetsk region.

In the past 24 hours, the defense forces repelled 10 enemy attacks in the areas of Stepnoy, Avdeevka and 7 more attacks near Pervomaisky and Nevelsky, Donetsk region.
In the Maryinsky direction, Ukrainian fighters continued to suppress the enemy near Georgievka and Novomikhailovka, Donetsk region, 21 attacks were repelled.
In the Zaporozhye direction, our defenders repelled the enemy attack in the Rabotino area of the Zaporozhye region.
In the Kherson direction, the Defense Forces are continuing steps to expand the bridgehead. Despite heavy losses, the enemy does not abandon attempts to dislodge our units from their positions. In the past 24 hours, the enemy made an unsuccessful attack on the positions of Ukrainian troops.
Ukrainian fighters inflict losses on the occupying forces in manpower and equipment, depleting the enemy along the entire front line.
During the day, Defense Forces aviation conducted strikes on 8 areas where enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated.
Ukraine’s air defense destroyed an X-59 guided aircraft missile.
Missile forces units hit 1 enemy control point, 1 artillery piece and 1 enemy radar station.
