The Russian occupiers are encouraging an environmental disaster in the occupied territories by placing military equipment in nature reserves. The Center for National Resistance reported this on Monday, January 22.
It was noted that Russian military equipment was found in Askania-Nova, a biosphere reserve of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine in the Kherson region.
In addition, according to representatives of the Central Tax Service, the invaders set up an artillery range in the territory of the reserve on the Karaday Peninsula in the Kherson region, which has been operating since 2020.
The Center states that all damages caused to the environment are recorded and no one can escape responsibility.
It was previously reported that in the occupied territories of the Zaporozhye region, Ukrainians cannot buy the necessary medicines.
