Donald Trump has promised, if he wins the election, to end the war in Ukraine even before his inauguration – even before he officially enters the Oval Office.
EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Joseppe Borrell said he doubts Donald Trump can stop Russia’s war against Ukraine within 24 hours. Barron’s reported this on Monday, January 22, citing the AP.
Borrell emphasized that other politicians have so far failed to find such a formula.
“We haven’t come up with a magic formula for solving the problem in 24 hours, but as I understand it, President Zelensky invited President Trump to come to Kyiv and quickly find a solution,” he said.
Borrell emphasized that Ukrainians, like no one else in the world, want the end of Russia’s war against Ukraine.
“The people who most want peace and most want to end the war are, of course, the Ukrainians, and I’m sure they would be happy if President Trump could give them a magic formula to end the war in 24 that time,” he concluded with Borrell.
The Russian side has no idea how to fulfill former US President Donald Trump’s election promise of a quick end to the war in Ukraine. Kremlin Speaker Dmitry Peskov said this.
And last week, Trump promised to end the war in Ukraine “very quickly.”
