The Commander of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces heard the proposals of the commanders regarding the further conduct of the battle.
The Commander of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, Colonel General Alexander Syrsky, reported on his Telegram channel that the work is currently ongoing with the brigade commanders in the directions of Seversky and Bakhmut.
“The situation remains extremely tense and is characterized by the intensive use of artillery, mortars, attack drones and enemy attack operations,” his message said.
Syrsky added that he listened to the commanders on the conclusions from the assessment of the situation and proposals for further conduct of the battle.
“Also, all necessary decisions were made on the ground to increase the effectiveness of the defense and eliminate problematic issues,” added the commander of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.
We remind you that the Main Intelligence Directorate has stated that Ukraine will not go to an “extreme defense” front, because it cannot afford the loss of territories due to inaction.
