In the Chernigov region, in the village of Kartovetskoe, on the night of today, January 22, the country house of businessman Igor Mazepa, who was recently detained on suspicion of fraud with the lands of the Kyiv hydroelectric station, burned down.

It is noted that the building was equipped with surveillance systems, so the cause of the fire is being established. According to preliminary data, no victims.

Let us remind you that on January 19, the court chose a preventive measure for Mazepa – detention until February 27 with the possibility of posting bail in the amount of more than 349 million UAH.
