Governor of the Leningrad Region Alexander Drozdenko reported that a fire occurred at the terminal of the Novatek company in the port of Ust-Luga. The personnel were evacuated and there were no casualties, Drozdenko assures.
He added that a high alert regime has been introduced in the Kingisep district of the region, and the head of the district is leading a meeting of the operational headquarters.
At the same time, Drozdenko did not specify the cause of the fire in the port.
