Russian State Duma deputy from United Russia Andrei Gurulev said that the Gulag system needs to be revived in the country. The politician said this on the air on the Tsargrad TV channel.
“They are now telling me: “You want to set up the Gulag again.” Well, I honestly say that I would happily wave their pickaxes in the area of the Kolyma Highway at those who are harming our homeland here today . It’s true. And I’m not the only one who wants it, and the people want it,” the deputy is convinced.
Let’s remember that in October 2023, Gurulev proposed to destroy the 20% of Russians who do not trust President Vladimir Putin, believing that 80% of the country’s population will support the head of state. The parliamentarian said he wanted “all this rot that remains, if not isolated, at least somehow destroyed.”
