The head of state is glad to see Trump in Ukraine, on the condition that he can stop the war with the Russian Federation within 24 hours.
President Vladimir Zelensky turned to former US President Donald Trump, who has the greatest chance of becoming the candidate of the Republican Party in the next presidential election, and invited him again to Ukraine. The head of state said this in an interview with the British television channel Channel 4 News.
“Donald Trump, I invite you to Ukraine, to Kyiv. So, if you can stop the war for 24 hours, I think that’s enough to come,” he addressed the former US President.
At the same time, Zelensky called it “very dangerous” that Trump is talking about his intentions to “end the war” in Ukraine within 24 hours.
“That is, he said that he would independently make a decision – I’m not even talking about Russia – without both sides, that is, without us. It says that if his idea, that no heard, will not work for us, our people, then he will do everything to implement his idea. And this worries me a little,” explained the president.

Let’s remember that the other day Trump again promised to end the war in Ukraine “too quickly.” Zelensky said he was ready to listen to Trump’s specific “peace plan” regarding the war in Ukraine. But our state will not give its territories to Russia.
Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has backed Trump as the next US president, saying the politician could be “exactly what the world needs” if he supports Ukraine.
