At the Krasnoilsk checkpoint, only empty trucks can now cross Ukraine’s state border with Romania.

Romanian farmers stopped blocking the movement of trucks in front of the Vicovo de Sus checkpoint, which is opposite the Ukrainian checkpoint of Krasnoilsk. The State Border Service of Ukraine (SBSU) reported this on Friday, January 19.

“The passage of all vehicles is proceeding as usual,” the message said.

At the same time, the border guards reminded that at the Krasnoilsk checkpoint, only empty cargo vehicles are allowed to cross the state border of Ukraine with Romania.

As you know, on January 13, Romanian farmers started blocking the Ukrainian border. They ended the blockade twice pending the outcome of the negotiations.

A day earlier it was reported that three checkpoints on the border with Romania were blocked.

At the same time, three days ago it became known that the Romanian government reached an agreement with the farmers blocking the Ukrainian border.
