Defense Express claims this is the first known use of it. This is a 10-meter-long rocket with a launch weight of four tons.
This weapon was developed in the 1950s and entered service in 1962. Despite its age, the P-35 is still in Russian service. In particular, it is a means of destroying the Redut coastal missile system. As of 2021, the Russians had eight launchers of such missiles.
In addition, the P-35 missile is used in the Utes stationary complex, also known as Object-100. This is an underground facility located near Balaklava. The missile launchers themselves are hidden underground and rise only before launch.
In total, there were only two such complexes in Russia – in Crimea and on Kildin Island in the Barents Sea (according to available information, abandoned).
