Lithuania restricts Russian Federation travel in the Kaliningrad region

Russia will lose up to 50% of deliveries to the Kaliningrad region by rail via Lithuania.

According to him, the ban will affect from 40% to 50% of imported and exported products from Russia through Lithuania, in particular, building materials, cement and metals.

As a result, the Russian Federation plans to increase the number of ships on the route Ust -Luga – Baltiysk.

Alikhanov said it was “a serious violation … of the right to free entry and exit from the Kaliningrad region.”
