The regulations do not provide a legal basis for changing the certificates issued in connection with the continuation of temporary protection.
In Poland, the temporary protection mechanism launched by an executive decision of the EU Council has been extended until March 4, 2025. This was reported by Interfax-Ukraine in reference to the Polish government.
It is noted that people who received a certificate of temporary protection from the Office for Foreigners valid until March 4, 2023, September 4, 2023 or March 4, 2024 do not need to apply for new documents.
Reportedly, the regulations do not provide a legal basis for changing issued certificates in connection with the extension of temporary protection. The documents contain the corresponding note to extend their period of validity by force of law. Foreigners who have already received certificates can continue to use them as residence documents to prove their legal status.
We remind you that the Israeli government has extended the permit for Ukrainian citizens to stay in the country until the end of 2024.
As reported, the Cabinet of Ministers began negotiations with partners on the issue of assistance to refugees when returning to Ukraine.
