By 2023, Ukraine will triple production of weapons and equipment, including drones.
Western partners are interested in cooperation with Ukraine in the production of drones. The Secretary of the National Defense Council, Alexey Danilov, announced this on Wednesday, January 17, during a telethon.
“About UAVs. Our country is definitely in the top three countries in the world that produce these devices, and they produce them so modern that now our partners have turned to us. “They will study the equipment produced by our private companies,” he said.
Danilov emphasized that it is private companies in Ukraine that are rapidly rebuilding a military base and starting to produce modern drones.
“A large number of supplies to the Ministry of Defense come from the private sector,” he said.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky announced the creation of 1 million drones by 2024. And every Ukrainian is invited to participate in the preparation of UAVs.
Ukraine began to produce artillery systems according to NATO standards and doubled the production of ammunition.
