Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak held a meeting with US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan in Davos: the parties discussed Ukraine’s defense capabilities and the situation at the front. Ermak announced this today, January 16, on social networks.
“In Davos, we met with US Presidential National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan… We discussed the situation at the front, Ukraine’s defense needs, and worked on the Ukrainian Peace Formula,” the message said.
Ermak called Sullivan a great friend of Ukraine, thanked him for his professionalism and help, and also added that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he and Sullivan have been in constant contact.
“And how many destroyed Russian armored vehicles are standing in the fields thanks to the weapons that were quickly agreed upon… And there will be more,” Ermak wrote.
It was earlier reported that President Vladimir Zelensky met with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. During the meeting, they discussed further defense cooperation between the United States and Ukraine – air defense and long-range weapons.
