Now defense industry enterprises can reserve their workers for military service without numerical restrictions.
On January 16, the government changed the procedure for booking employees of the military-industrial complex. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy.
It was noted that the Cabinet of Ministers amended Resolution No. 76 of January 27, 2023, which regulates the issues of booking those liable for military service during martial law in the booking of employees of military-industrial complex enterprises.
According to the adopted decision, employees responsible for military service of enterprises, institutions and organizations identified by the Ministry of Strategic Industries as critical in the field of the military-industrial complex are reserved: regardless of military rank, age and military specialty and no restrictions. on the number of persons liable for military service subject to booking.
According to the Deputy Minister of Economy Igor Fomenko, now the enterprises of the military-industrial complex will be able to reserve their workers bound to the military without restrictions on the number and without taking into account the degree of lack of their military specialty. This will strengthen the potential of the defense-industrial complex and give defense enterprises the opportunity to operate stably and increase production volumes.
