It was proposed to create an international working group to jointly develop a mechanism for the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine.
Defense Minister Rustem Umerov proposed to create an international working group at the level of defense ministers and national security advisers to jointly develop a mechanism for the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine. The head of the Ministry of Defense announced this on Facebook on Sunday, January 14.
The head of the department made a corresponding proposal at the fourth meeting of national security advisors on the Ukrainian Peace Formula, presenting the participants with the 6th point of the initiative: Withdrawal of Russian troops from the territory of Ukraine.
According to Umerov, the Peace Formula proposed by President Vladimir Zelensky currently unites 83 countries in the world.
At the meeting of advisers, the minister noted the impossibility of talking about the restoration of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine without the complete withdrawal and disarmament of Russian troops and terrorist groups from the temporarily occupied territory.
We remind you that on January 14, the fourth meeting of national security advisers and political advisers on the Ukrainian Peace Formula took place in the city of Davos in Switzerland. Representatives of 81 countries and international organizations took part in the event. China ignored the meeting.
The representative of Switzerland in Davos said that Russia should be involved in peace negotiations with Ukraine.
