The Romanians blocked the Ukrainian border

Truck traffic through the Romanian Siret checkpoint, opposite the Ukrainian Porubnoye, was blocked. This was reported by the State Border Service of Ukraine.

“The reasons and estimated duration of the blockade are unknown. Traffic may become more difficult in both directions,” border guards said.

According to the State Border Guard Service, there is currently no significant queue of cargo vehicles heading to Ukraine. There are 825 vehicles registered in E-queue to leave Ukraine.

“The passage of cars, passenger buses and pedestrians is carried out as usual,” the border guards added.

We remind you that on January 4, Polish farmers continued to block the Medika-Shegini checkpoint.

It was also reported that the Polish government signed an agreement with farmers to end the blockade of the border crossing with Ukraine at the Medica-Shegini checkpoint.
