Ukraine plans to sign security agreements with several more countries, the Prime Minister said.
Ukraine is currently negotiating with several other countries to sign an agreement on security guarantees and military cooperation, Prime Minister Denis Shmigal said at the telethon.
According to him, the agreement signed yesterday in Britain will be the standard for future agreements.
“Why is this agreement important? It has become a standard. It is very important that the standard includes maximum guarantees for our state. And so… Britain will support Ukraine during the invasion as long as necessary,” said by Szmigal.
He stressed that the agreement with Britain was just the beginning. Over time, similar agreements should emerge in other countries.
We remind you that British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, during a visit to Ukraine on Friday, announced that the UK will provide military aid to Ukraine worth 2.5 billion pounds. Also on this day, Ukraine and Great Britain signed a security agreement. It is designed for 10 years, but will be terminated when Ukraine becomes a member of NATO.
