Russian media report this.
Local authorities said that the blackout occurred due to an accident in the “central power grid” and promised that the outage would last only 2-3 hours. At the same time, why the light disappeared in other areas of the city and located next to Bataysk is not specified.
Local energy supply operator Donenergo subsequently stated that a “temporary power supply limitation schedule” had been introduced in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation. However, they do not provide any deadline for restoring electricity supply in the region.
