The photos published by the Sumy region prosecutor’s office after the morning shelling show a huge crater right in the yard among the high-rise buildings.
Local authorities said the blast damaged 26 houses and injured one woman.
According to preliminary data, it could be the Kh-22 supersonic cruise missile.
In Chernigov, several private houses were damaged, one was destroyed. A dog died in one of the courtyards from the explosion.
There are also hits in the Dnieper. There were no casualties.
An unexploded rocket fell on a private yard in the Kremenchug region. There were no injuries or deaths.
Air defense also worked during the attack in Chernihiv, Kirovograd and Rivne regions, the OVA reported.
