More than 20 enemy targets were not included in the downed statistics, but did not reach their targets due to active electronic warfare avoidance.
On Saturday night, Russian aggressors launched a massive attack on the territory of Ukraine. Eight missiles were shot down, and more than 20 more missed their targets as a result of active countermeasures through electronic warfare. The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this on January 13.
It is indicated that now the enemy is using cruise, aeroballistic, ballistic, aviation, anti-aircraft guided missiles and attack drones.
A total of 40 enemy air attack weapons were recorded:
-
7 S-300/S-400 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the Belgorod region;
-
3 attack drones Shahed-136/131 from the Kursk region;
-
6 Kh-47M2 Dagger aeroballistic missiles from six MiG-31K aircraft (launch site – Tambov);
-
up to 12 Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 cruise missiles from 11 Tu-95MS strategic bombers (launch area – Caspian Sea);
-
6 X-22 cruise missiles from Tu-22M3 bombers from the Bryansk region;
-
2 X-31P guided aircraft missiles from two Su-35 aircraft (launch site – occupied Kherson region);
-
4 X-59 guided aircraft missiles from two Su-34 aircraft (launch area – Bryansk region).
The Ukrainian military destroyed seven X-101/X-555/X-55 cruise missiles, as well as one X-59 guided aircraft missile.
At the same time, it is indicated that more than 20 of these targets, which are not included in the lowered statistics, did not achieve their goals due to active electronic warfare (EW) countermeasures.
“In addition, the “unparalleled” Russian missiles are getting worse and flying God knows where! However, this does not mean that they do not threaten, on the contrary! So be vigilant, do not ignore the alarm, especially with the use of “ballistics”.” , said the military.
We remind you that on the night of January 13, the Russians carried out another massive missile attack on Ukraine. Initially, missiles of the X-101/555/55 type were launched from the Tu-95MS. Later it became known that Kinzhal missiles appeared in the air. The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has not yet published data on the work of air defense units.
