Ukraine, as part of an agreement on security guarantees with Britain, has promised to introduce some reforms. This was reported by the press service of the President’s Office.

Thus, Ukraine is committed to continuing the institutional reform of governance to build a sustainable and inclusive democracy and to continue to implement the reform of the judicial system.
In addition, Ukraine has committed to continuously improve the capacity and ability to prevent corruption in the public and private sectors. They aim to do this by creating and supporting independent anti-corruption institutions.
Ukraine also pledged to promote reforms in the security and defense sector, in particular by strengthening civilian democratic control and increasing the efficiency and transparency of Ukraine’s security institutions. Such reforms are planned to be promoted by supporting democratic civilian control of the Armed Forces, good governance in the security and defense sector, improving defense and security procurement processes and strengthening adherence to the values and standards of Euro-Atlantic.
Ukraine also pledged to modernize the economy through reforms that would attract private financing, increase investor confidence, fight corruption and create fair conditions for all parties.
