After the Ministry of Defense’s finalization, the corresponding bill will be resubmitted for consideration by the Cabinet of Ministers.
The government has officially announced that it has withdrawn the bill to improve mobilization. It was found out on Thursday, January 11.
“Today, in an extraordinary meeting, the Government supported the decision of the protocol initiated by the Ministry of Defense “On the withdrawal of the draft Law of Ukraine” submitted to the Verkhovna Rada “On amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine to improve certain issues of mobilization, military registration and military service,” the message said.
It is indicated that after the finalization of the Ministry of Defense, the relevant bill will be resubmitted for consideration by the Cabinet of Ministers.
As you know, after the government bill on mobilization was introduced, heated discussions and disputes arose in the Verkhovna Rada. After meeting with the military leadership on January 11, the faction leader public servant David Arahamia said the Rada is returning the draft law on mobilization to the government for revision.
Parliament Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk said the decision to return the bill for revision was a general one. We are talking about the common position of parliament, government leadership and the military.
