The head of the department rushes to a car company of the German brand BMW in a private meeting outside the town.
Austrian Finance Minister Magnus Brunner was deprived of his driving license for four weeks for violating traffic rules. Kurier reported this on Wednesday, January 10.
“The New Year started fast for Finance Minister Magnus Brunner. So fast and so fast that he is banned from driving for the next four weeks,” the article said.
So, last Saturday, Brunner used his company car BMW 7 for a private trip and exceeded the speed limit. The minister was driving more than 130 km/h beyond the 80 km/h limit. Police stopped the minister on the Rhine Valley motorway (A14) near the Dornbirn-Süd junction.
No blood alcohol test was conducted, as law enforcement officials had no such suspicion.
The Austrian Finance Ministry said Brunner “regrets this incident.”
It is known that the Austrian parliament has approved a bill that allows the confiscation of cars whose drivers exceed the speed limit.
We remind you that in September 2022, the payment of fines for violating traffic rules was returned to the Diya application.
In Poland, a Ukrainian received a fine of 55 thousand Hryvnia a day
