Over the past week, the rate of daily unloading of wagons with grain at the ports of Greater Odessa fluctuates in the range of 1000-1300 wagons/day.
The Deputy Director of the Department of Commercial Operations of Ukrzaliznytsia, Valery Tkachev, said that the traffic flow with cargo of grain was transferred from the western borders in the direction of the sea ports of Greater Odessa.
He noted that last week the rate of daily unloading of wagons with grain at the ports of Greater Odessa was fluctuating in the range of 1000-1300 wagons/day.
According to Tkachev, the average daily rate of wagon unloading at the ports is 1,187 wagons per day; last week the number increased by 143 wagons/day, or 13.58%.
The number of wagons with grain moving to Greater Odessa ports increased from 7398 to 7520 wagons.
We remind you that at the end of November, Ukrzaliznytsia transported 14 million tons of cargo, which is 33.8% more than the same period in 2022 and 4% more than October 2023.
It was also reported that Ukrzaliznytsia built the first grain carrier, well adapted for Eurogauge transport.
