The local occupation administration used the situation to carry out additional filtration measures in the city. This was reported today, January 10, on the website of the Center for National Resistance.
More than 300 people were evicted from the bombing area, whose houses were searched by the Russians in their absence. People were kept in temporary centers, where their data, telephone numbers and presence of a Russian passport were also checked. As a result, the occupiers detained a number of persons suspected of disloyalty, the message states.
On the morning of January 8, the occupiers experienced an “extraordinary aircraft shell attack,” as a result of which a FAB-250 aerial bomb fell on one of the few surviving residential areas of Rubezhnoye.
At the time, the Lugansk OVA noted that this time the Russians were unable to hide their crime and attribute the destruction to supposedly Ukrainian shelling due to numerous witnesses who saw both the Russian fighter and the actual landing of the ammunition.
