Two drones attacked the Russian military airfield “Engels-2” in the Saratov region, from which missile carriers take off for attacks on Ukraine.

On the morning of January 10, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that one drone was shot down over the Saratov region, and the head of the region clarified that one drone was shot down over the Engel region.
Astra media, citing sources, writes that there were two drones – they were allegedly shot down and fell onto the airfield. The consequences are not yet known. Russian Tu-160 strategic bombers are based at the airfield.
From the territory controlled by the legitimate authorities of Ukraine to the borders of the Saratov region is approximately 500 km, and to the airfield near the city of Engels is more than 600 km.
