Judge Alena Kushnova also ruled that Lvov must pay wages for the period of “forced absenteeism.”
Let us recall that he was expelled from the staff on the basis of information from the SBU, which confirmed that Judge Lvov had Russian citizenship and a Russian tax number, as investigative journalists from the Schemes program were the first to report.
The Supreme Court refused to say whether they plan to appeal the decision of the Kyiv District Administrative Court.
In addition to Lvov’s Russian citizenship, journalists discovered that his wife and mother-in-law own an apartment in Moscow: its approximate market value is UAH 11 million. In none of his property declarations did he indicate that real estate in Moscow was registered in his wife’s name.
Before his expulsion, Bogdan Lvov was the chairman of the Economic Court of Cassation as part of the Supreme Court.
After the meeting, he said that he was “certainly pleased with the decision.” He answered questions from journalists about Russian citizenship, the presence of which was confirmed by the SBU in October 2022:
I don’t need to convince myself. I know that I am exclusively a citizen of Ukraine, and I have the only passport.
