President Vladimir Zelensky held the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. The commanders of the main directions and operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be personally present, the head of state said on Telegram on Tuesday, January 9.
“Together with them, the General Staff, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Strategic Industry and the Ministry of Digital Development, we discussed in detail the topic of giving in front of shells and drones. Actual costs, daily needs , distribution between units ,” Zelensky wrote.
According to him, it was decided to systematize existing and future contracts, help from partners, in-house production and the opening of new lines.
“We are doing everything to give the soldiers everything they need to complete their tasks,” the president assured.
Another important topic at Headquarters is the strengthening of air defense in Ukraine.
“We reviewed the latest Russian strikes and the effectiveness of the Air Force. We agreed on our next steps to strengthen the protection of cities, communities, businesses and critical infrastructure,” Zelensky added.
Earlier it became known that Vladimir Zelensky met the negotiators on security guarantees for Ukraine. This includes government and intelligence officials.
