“The Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation is investigating a case against three employees of the M department of the FSB: Alexey Tsarev, Sergei Manyshkin and Alexander Ushakov. It was reported that one of them, Ushakov, was also charged with organizing a criminal group using his official position.
“Manyshkin and Tsarev agreed to the investigation and testified as accomplices in the crime; they are under house arrest. Ushakov was taken into custody,” the interlocutor of the agency summed up.
We remind you that on October 2, Sumy Mayor Alexander Lysenko and the director of the department were caught immediately after receiving 1.43 million hryvnias. They were informed of the suspicion of extortion of bribes from a local company with a total of more than 2.1 million hryvnias.
Later, the court arrested the mayor of Sumy with the possibility of bail in the amount of 3 million Hryvnia. In turn, Lysenko said that he did not receive a bribe and did not see the money.
At the same time, on October 6, Lysenko was released on bail, and three days later he was removed from his post.
