The former adviser to the head of the Presidential Administration (AP) organized a scheme to illegally transport men of military age across the border. The cost of the service is $7,000. The press service of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office reported this on its Telegram channel on Monday, January 8.
In March 2023, a 48-year-old resident of the capital, who before the Revolution of Dignity held the position of adviser to the head of the Presidential Administration, organized a scheme to illegally transport men of age military at the state border.
To implement the scheme, the attacker artificially registered the men as drivers of international passenger transport under his control.
A person who wants to cross the border illegally gets behind the wheel of a bus with fictitious passengers and another female driver. After crossing the border, the female driver immediately returned to Ukraine with the passengers.
Investigative actions in criminal proceedings are ongoing. The case is being investigated by National Police officers with the support of the Security Service.
The issue of counterintelligence was resolved. The SBU, together with the National Police of Ukraine and the Information and Security Service of Moldova, neutralized an international criminal group that illegally transported Ukrainian citizens of military age abroad of the state.

It was also reported that the police neutralized four corruption schemes for avoiding military service – in Kyiv and three regions.
