The most critical situation occurred on the A2 motorway near the town of Słubice in the Lubusz Voivodeship. The traffic jam there is almost 10 km. The large queues resulted from increased traffic and random checks by German border guards. RMF24 reports this.
It is noted that the situation on the border between Poland and Germany may worsen today, January 8. German farmers announced protests on the autobahn. Farmers are protesting against the German government’s plans to gradually eliminate subsidies for agricultural diesel fuel. Farmers plan to block roads with tractors throughout Germany within a week.
As is known, Polish carriers continue to physically block three of the four largest border crossings on the Polish-Ukrainian border. Because of this, not only exporters, importers and carriers of the two countries suffer damage, but also relations between the two countries, which have not yet had time to recover from the grain conflict, suffer.

Let us remind you that since January 4, Polish farmers have been blocking the Medika-Shegini truck checkpoint, but on January 6 the Polish government signed an agreement with farmers to unblock the border with Ukraine.
