The fire started around 12 midnight in a metal hangar measuring 70 by 80 meters on Far Eastern Avenue.
In the Nevsky district of St. Petersburg, a hangar with polyethylene and cardboard packaging caught fire. The press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported this on Monday, January 8, on the Telegram channel.
“A hangar is on fire in the Nevsky district. There are no reports of casualties. 22 specialists and five pieces of equipment were involved in the killing,” the message said.
Later, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation clarified that the area of the fire was 4 thousand square meters. m., and 55 specialists and 14 pieces of equipment are already engaged in extinguishing the fire.
On New Year’s Eve, a fire broke out in the west of Moscow – a hangar with diesel fuel in an area of about 1000 square meters burned.
