It became a pontoon bridge, which until recently served as a Russian crossing. Sappers determined that the metal structure was not threatening.

On the Desna River near the Russian border, border guards discovered a large floating object – a Russian pontoon bridge. This is reported by the State Border Service.

It was noted that the object was moving along the river from Russia. He was spotted by border guards in the Chernigov region. Defenders followed the object until it stopped offshore in Ukrainian territory.

“It turned out to be a pontoon bridge, which recently served as a crossing point for the Russians,” the report said.

Sappers determined that the metal structure was not threatening.

We remind you that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have intensified the construction of fortifications in the Tauride direction.
