In Lutsk, 12 vehicles collided on a slippery road

A 20-year-old woman was hit by a car as she exited the bridge. Another car collided while trying to brake.

In Lutsk on the evening of Saturday, January 6, three accidents occurred at the overpass on Pobeda Avenue. In total, about 12 cars collided there, reports the local Telegram channel Konkurent.

It was learned that a 20-year-old woman was hit by a car at the exit of the bridge. Two more vehicles collided while braking on the slippery road. Because of this, the three injured victims were taken to the city hospital.

The Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in the Volyn region spoke about the work at the accident site.

“Reconnaissance was being carried out at the scene of the accident, a gun was fired to prevent vehicle fires,” the State Emergency Service reported. According to the rescuers, during this time, three victims were handed over to medical workers.

It was earlier reported that a major accident occurred near Zhitomir where five vehicles collided. And on December 26, an accident occurred in the Dnepropetrovsk region involving six vehicles, including a truck. Six people were injured.
