In an evening video message to the people of Ukraine on Saturday, January 6, President Vladimir Zelensky responded to the enemy attack in the Prokrovsky district of the Donetsk region.
“At this time, in Pokrovsk, Donetsk region and the Pokrovsky district, the rescue operation continues after the Russian missile attack. S-300 missiles. The necessary rescue forces and equipment from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine has been brought in. The Clearing the rubble. So far, more than ten people are known to have died, and among them are children, unfortunately… My condolences to all those who have lost relatives son and friend. Russian attacks are simple on ordinary residential buildings, on private houses. All the wounded receive the necessary help. And Russia should feel – always feel that none of these strikes are will not occur without consequences for the terrorist state. We must ensure this – with our strength, our own defense and political ability,” said the president.
We remind you that as a result of the Russian strike in the Pokrovsky district of the Donetsk region, 11 people died, including children. Eight other residents of the area were injured. Search and rescue continues.
