During a raid on enemy territory, special forces of Ukrainian military intelligence mined a road and attacked a Russian stronghold. The invaders suffered losses. In addition, the Ukrainian military wounded a “significant person”, and the enemy immediately invited a helicopter to evacuate him to Moscow. The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Moscow Region, Kirill Budanov, stated this in an interview on the 1+1 TV channel.
This is a normal operation for us… We have an open war and there is nothing to be surprised about here. The one who brings war to others will sooner or later receive it from himself, which, in principle, is what happens,” said the chief intelligence officer.
Budanov did not disclose the remaining details of the GUR special operation in the Belgorod region.
Let us recall that on December 30, as a result of strikes by the Ukrainian Defense Forces on military targets in the Russian Belgorod, an officer of the Russian Investigative Committee, Mikhail Konopitsyn, who had previously fought against Ukraine as the commander of an anti-tank missile platoon, was eliminated.
