The Russian army shelled the city of Nikopol in the Dnepropetrovsk region on the morning of January 6.

The enemy fired from artillery. As a result of armed aggression, a 45-year-old man died. Two people were injured – a 16-year-old girl and a 66-year-old man. The head of the Dnepropetrovsk regional military administration, Sergei Lysak, reported this on Telegram.
As a result of the artillery strike, 13 private houses and six outbuildings were damaged in the city. Debris from Russian shells hit several cars, power lines, and a gas pipeline.
Information about the consequences of the shelling is still being clarified.
The Office of the Prosecutor General reported that under the procedural leadership of the Dnepropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation into criminal proceedings has been launched for violation of the laws and customs of war, coupled with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Let us remind you that on January 6, the Russian occupation army shelled the Tyagin community of the Kherson region. Enemy shells destroyed modular houses for internally displaced persons, the village council building, a warehouse with humanitarian aid, and private cars.
