On Friday, January 5, anti-aircraft gunners of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine landed three enemy UAVs in the region. The aerial fighters destroyed two Merlin-VR drones and one Orlan-10 drone. The Air Force reported this on social networks.
Let’s hold the sky! Total to victory! – the military noted and showed on video the shooting down of hostile targets.
As you know, the Russian Orlan-10 UAV weighs up to 18 kg and can rise to a height of up to 6 thousand m, and the flight time ranges from 10 to 18 hours.
And Merlin-VR can stay in the air for up to 10 hours and rise to a height of up to 5 km. The payload of the drone is 6.5 kg.
Let us remind you that soldiers of the 1129th Belotserkovsky anti-aircraft missile regiment showed on video how the American self-propelled anti-aircraft missile system Avenger successfully shoots down Russian kamikaze drones of the “Shahed” type.
