DTEK power engineers restore power supply to Donbass with the Armed Forces of Ukraine

During the day, light was restored to nearly five thousand homes in the Donetsk region. And in the past week – 440 thousand buyers.

Over the past day, DTEK emergency teams, together with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, have returned light to 4,945 houses in the combat zone of the Donetsk region, the company’s press service reported on Thursday, June 16th.

“The shelling continues in the Donetsk region, however, in less than a day, electrical engineers have resumed power supply for 5,000 families in the direction of Toretsk and Bakhmut, where the enemy regularly brings artillery and rocket attacks, ”the report said.

So far, 321 settlements remain de-energized in the Donetsk region.

Electrical engineers will not be able to start repairs until they receive permission from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Last week, DTEK power engineers restored power supply to 263 settlements of Donbass – for 440,000 consumers.
